What makes a good team?

Short answer, trust.

I think a good team is characterized by honest and open conversation. It’s usually amplified when people care about their goals, want to succeed themselves and help others succeed. Good teams tend to know each other at a personal level, but it’s not required. Being able to communicate effectively towards the common goal is the critical requirement.

All that said, trust is beneath each of those qualities.
